“Calling it a wrap!”
The Cape Ann Museum is pleased to announce that the CAM Library & Archives will be the new home for the recordings of the program Cape Ann ARTWaves! Cape Ann ARTWaves (CAAW) was initially conceived to keep the arts front and center during the Pandemic. The final episode featuring Rebecca Reynolds, Executive Director and co-founder of Manship Artists Residency and Studios (MARS), aired January 30, 2023—marking almost three years of interviews by co-producers/co-hosts Kristine Fisher and Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco with over 75 artists, makers, curators, and gallerists. Due to high demand and viewership, the show outlived the Pandemic in 2020 and was continued through 2022. The artists include a diverse group across genres, levels of experience, and personal history and connection to Cape Ann.
CAM will be the official steward of the shows initially created with SeArts and 1623 Studios, and they will be integrated into the Museum archives under the direction of Trenton Carls, Head Librarian & Archivist. Until the transition of videos is complete, you can still view the collection on the 1623 Studios Youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/playlist…
